Integrating Bioinformatics Education into Clinical and Laboratory Training

There are no CE credits available for this webinar.
Description:
Join the AMP Education Community of Practice (EdCoP) as we discuss how to incorporate bioinformatics into curricula for MGP and LGG fellows and for molecular technologists. Our expert panelists will present their views on essential topics that fellows and technologists should know, approaches and techniques for teaching bioinformatics effectively, and highlight useful resources, particularly for non-bioinformatician educators. This session was recorded as part of the 2025 AMP Annual Meeting & Expo.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify practical bioinformatics topics important for pathology fellows and laboratory staff.
- Describe ways laboratorians can contribute to bioinformatics education.
- Recognize opportunities to integrate teaching into clinical and lab workflows.
- List useful resources for supporting bioinformatics education in different settings.
