This webinar will provide information on the laboratory response and share recent molecular investigations into the current outbreak of the avian influenza A (H5N1) virus. Speakers will address the history of avian influenza A viruses, the current state of the response, the science behind the outbreak investigation, and the development of laboratory tests for diagnosis and vaccines against the virus.
