Overview

The introductory, overview lecture, "Contemporary Topics in Molecular Diagnostics," presents real-life case scenarios of how a "molecular toolkit" and techniques are used in today's molecular pathology diagnostics laboratory. The second lecture presents the fundamentals of DNA and genomics. Subsequently, case studies throughout the rest of the course describes applications of the technologies in various content areas (genetics, oncology, informatics, and hematopathology).
